Job Title: Emergency Room (ER) Clinical Nurse - Registered Nurse (RN) Location: New York, USA Duration: 13 Weeks (Contract) Shift: Rotating / Day & Night Shifts (as per facility requirement) Key Responsibilities: Deliver safe, competent, and quality patient care using evidence-based nursing practices. Assess, evaluate, and prioritize patient care needs using critical thinking skills. Implement and monitor individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Provide patient and caregiver education on treatment plans, health promotion, and disease prevention. Ensure effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Perform clinical interventions and integrate assessment findings into care delivery. Participate in bedside reporting, purposeful rounding, and discharge planning. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Identify and escalate safety risks, ensuring a high standard of patient safety and care quality. Support quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects. Perform charge nurse duties as assigned and assist with patient throughput. Manage resources efficiently, including staffing, equipment, and supplies. Required Qualification: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing Active Registered Nurse (RN) License (New York State) Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room (ER) experience (adult and/or pediatric) Strong clinical, critical thinking, and communication skills Current Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience Experience with EPIC electronic medical records system Trauma care experience Certifications such as: TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse)
