Physician Assistant – General Surgery
Cascade Hernia & Surgical Solutions | Meridian Surgery Center

Cascade Hernia & Surgical Solutions is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant with a minimum of four years of general surgery experience to join our growing physician-led outpatient surgical practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surgical PA who enjoys operating and patient care but wants a predictable Monday–Friday schedule with no nights, weekends, holidays, or emergency call.
Position Highlights
- $160,000–$170,000 annual salary
- Minimum 4 years of general surgery experience
- Monday–Friday schedule
- No nights, weekends, holidays, or emergency room call
- Approximately 45% OR / 45% clinic / 10% administrative
- Approximately 198 working days per year
- 4×10 schedule may be available
- Established surgical practice and referral base
- Newly constructed ambulatory surgery center
- Experienced surgical and administrative support team
Role
The Physician Assistant will work closely with the surgical team in the evaluation, treatment, and management of general surgery patients.
Responsibilities include:
- Preoperative patient evaluation and surgical planning
- Assisting with surgical procedures
- Postoperative patient management and follow-up
- Clinic-based evaluation and management
- Patient education and surgical counseling
- Wound assessment and postoperative care
- Coordination of patient care before and after surgery
- Documentation and communication with referring providers
The PA will work collaboratively with experienced surgeons and the broader clinical team while exercising appropriate autonomy within their scope of practice.
Surgical Practice
Cascade Hernia & Surgical Solutions provides elective outpatient general surgery within Meridian Surgery Center. Procedures include:
- Open and laparoscopic hernia repair
- Laparoscopic general surgery
- Melanoma excisions
- Sentinel lymph node biopsy
- Flap closures
- Pilonidal disease surgery
- Anorectal surgery
- Other elective outpatient general surgical procedures

Requirements
- Physician Assistant (PA-C)
- Minimum 4 years of general surgery experience required
- Current Washington State PA license
- NCCPA certification
- Current DEA registration
- Current BLS/ACLS certification
- Surgical first-assist experience preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and patient-care skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative surgical environment
Compensation: $160,000–$170,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
