Are you an experienced general surgeon who loves to operate - but is ready to leave emergency room call, hospital bureaucracy, and unpredictable schedules behind?
Cascade Hernia & Surgical Solutions is seeking an experienced general surgeon to join our physician-led outpatient practice located within Meridian Surgery Center, a newly constructed ambulatory surgery center in Puyallup, Washington.
This is an opportunity to build a rewarding surgical practice focused on bread-and-butter elective outpatient general surgery while enjoying exceptional work-life balance, an established referral base, and a clear path to partnership.
Practice Highlights
- Monday clinic with operating room time Tuesday through Friday
- No emergency room call
- Night coverage limited to your own practice patients
- Established referral base with immediate surgical volume
- Anticipated case volume of 12-15 cases per week upon start
- Physician assistant or nurse practitioner support
- Experienced surgical assistants
- Dedicated schedulers, medical assistants, and full administrative support
- Physician-owned practice and ambulatory surgery center
- Partnership opportunity after two years
Surgical Practice
The successful candidate will perform a broad range of CMS-approved outpatient general surgery, including:
- Open and laparoscopic hernia repair
- Laparoscopic general surgery
- Melanoma excisions
- Sentinel lymph node biopsy
- Flap closures
- Pilonidal disease surgery
- Anorectal surgery
- Other bread-and-butter elective outpatient general surgical procedures

Requirements
Qualifications
- Board Certified in General Surgery
- Minimum 10 years of clinical experience preferred
- Washington State medical license or eligibility
- Current DEA registration
- Medicare provider enrollment or eligibility
- Current ACLS certification
