Non-invasive Cardiologist
South Shore Health is a not-for-profit, charitable, physician-led health system offering primary, secondary, and certain aspects of tertiary care. With over $950 million in net patient service revenue and a hospital with 374 licensed beds, it is the largest independent health system in Southeastern Massachusetts.
Our Division of Cardiology, South Shore Cardiology, is comprised of 8 employed cardiologists, well supported by in-patient and out-patient nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and nursing colleagues. Our inpatient activities take place at South Shore Hospital, which boasts the second busiest emergency room in Massachusetts. The cardiac catheterization lab at South Shore Hospital performs over 700 interventional procedures per year. In addition, we have an advanced electrophysiology service, performing more leadless transcatheter pacing systems than any other Massachusetts hospital. Our EP service works collaboratively within the group to provide our patients with pacemaker access, including LBB pacing, ICD, CRT, and advanced ablation procedures.
We perform and interpret transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiograms, regular stress testing, stress echocardiograms, nuclear stress testing, Holter monitors, and mobile cardiac telemetry studies. Our advanced practice clinicians support our active heart failure service which includes CardioMems PA monitoring.
